Students learned the application of advanced mathematical techniques to deal with linear & non-linear Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). In an engrossing lecture by Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Senior Assistant Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, students discussed the use of computer software like MATLAB & Mathematica to get exact & approximate solutions to PDEs.
